Lappis Pub

Lappis Pub is an event room the students at Lappis can rent for parties, meetings, recreation nights and all kinds of student events; Lappis Pub is located in Forskarbacken 14.

Many successful events have been taking place there, for example dinners, birthdays parties, dance lessons, students courses, theme parties like Halloween, Carnival, Viking etc. The facility has room for 40 sitting people including tables. A good light system is available, as well as a billiard-table (with cue and balls).

If you are a tenant of Lappis (contract and ID required), you can rent the pub for your private party or event and arrange it as you want. The price for the rent is 600kr; you pay 300kr when you sign the contract and the other 300kr when you get the key.

You have to leave a deposit of 4000kr and you get it back after 3 weeks (21 days) if everything is in order when your party is finished and if Securitas was not in your party. It takes normally 3 weeks for us to be informed if Securitas has been there or not, due to complaints of the neighbors.

The Lappis Pub has a high-standard stereo, the price to rent it is 1000kr and this includes:

• 3xAmplifier • 2x350W speakers • 2x200W speakers • 1x400W Bass • 6-Channel Mixer, including 3 microphones • 1-projector and a 130” video screen.

Due to problems renting the stereo before, a guard will be checking during the night that you don’t play too loud music as well as the correctly use of the equipment.

Please do not play too loud the music and keep your guests inside the premises to avoid any disturbance to the neighbor’s. Remember that there are families living very close to the pub.
